Christmas Lights

Christmas is a wonderful time of year and at Mow Cop there are a few who go that extra mile to put a smile
on all of our faces. For a long time the bungalow at the Church Lane/Congleton Road was the clear winner, and for a few years we all loved to drive past and see the reindeer and lights. This house was the clear leader in Chevy Chase National Lampoons Christmas extravaganza, and to some still is. As with a lot of things a picture just doesn't do it credit, so take a drive or walk out and take a few minutes to appreciate this gentleman's (or woman's) hard labours. Thank you.

Once in a while though the crown is stolen, and no one minds, especially when you consider the local good causes that benefit from Nancy and John's wonderful Christmas Garden. People travel from near and far to sit on the Ash Inn car park and look at Mow Cops very own Las Vegas, (only better). This years display is awesome with a full house and garden, well worth a visit. However please bring some loose change as Nancy & John stand in all weathers on the car park from 5:30 - 10:00 PM with a bucket collecting for local good causes.
