The Ash Inn

(Click on the pub to travel back in time)

The Ash Inn is now one of the busiest pubs on Mow Cop, I as yet do not know when it was founded, but it was certainly prior to the 1881 census.

The census returns for that year show it been run by William Bailey, who was till in the pub in 1890 (Keates Directory of the Potteries)

In 2002 it was gutted by fire but has now been fully restored, (visit their own site).

The Ash Inn had new owners move in and open up March 2009
